Day 10 – Make Up Day


Day 8 – January 29th 2011

I was unable to train because I went to a friends house after finishing my training on Day 7. I went home just in time to get ready for work. So, my only “training” was work. I did walk on my tip toes for about half of my six hour shift. That trains calf muscles, ankles, and balance. That is about it. Lol.

Day 9 – January 30th 2011

I was unable to train. I woke up at 9am, went to church, went to work, and came home after 10pm. So, ya.

Day 10 – January 31st 2011

I was able to train. Lol. I tried to make up for it tonight.

Wrist Curls on each arm – 60 reps with 5 pounds and 10 reps with 15 pounds

Reverse Wrist Curls on each arm – 60 reps with 5 pounds and 10 reps with 15 pounds

Gazelle (Level 1 is Fat Burning, Level 2 is Muscular Endurance, Level 3 is Muscle Toning, Level 4 is Muscle Building)

Level 1 – 15 minutes wearing 15 pound backpack

Level 2 – 15 minutes

Level 3 – 15 minutes

Level 4 – 15 minutes

Push Ups – 20 wearing 15 pound backpack

Sit Ups – 20

Leg Lifts – 200 reps with 50 pounds

Two handed wall push ups – 20 wearing 15 pound backpack

One handed wall push ups – 10 with each hand wearing 15 pound backpack

Two handed fingertip wall push ups – 10 wearing 15 pound backpack

Two handed fist wall push ups – 10 wearing 15 pound backpack

Two handed wall clap push ups – 20 wearing 15 pound backpack

Bench press – 20 reps with 50 pounds

Arm Pull Downs on exercise machine – 120 reps with 50 pounds and 2 reps on each arm one handed with 50 pounds

Fist Pumps on each arm – 50 reps with 5 pound weight used for Arm Curls and 10 with 15 pounds

Two Handed Curls – 10 reps with 15 pounds

Day 7 – January 28th 2011

Wrist Curls on each arm – 50 reps with 5 pounds

Reverse Wrist Curls on each arm – 50 reps with 5 pounds

Gazelle Level 1 – 20 minutes

Gazelle Level 2 – 10 minutes wearing 15 pound backpack

Push Ups – 10

Sit Ups – 10

Handstand Push Ups from chair – 10

Leg Lifts – 130 reps with 37.5 pounds

Arm Lifts on each arm – 30 reps with 30 pounds

Balance – 4 minutes on each leg

Grip – 1 minute with each hand and 1 minute with both

Arm Pull Downs on exercise machine – 10 reps with 62.5 pounds

Two handed wall push ups – 10

One handed wall push ups – 10 with each hand

Two handed fingertip wall push ups – 10

Two handed fist wall push ups – 10

Two handed push ups pushing off the wall each time – 10

Bench press – 30 reps with 37.5 pounds and 50 reps with old wooden coffee table (weight unknown)

Arm Pull Downs on exercise machine – 70 reps with 37.5 pounds and 10 reps on each arm on handed with 37.5 pounds

Fist Pumps on each arm – 20 reps with 5 pound weight used for Arm Curls

Day 6 – January 27th 2011

Walk – 2 ½ miles with a 15 pound backpack on

Leg Lifts – 3 reps with 112.5 pounds

Arm Pull Downs on exercise machine – 2 reps with 112.5 pounds

Not a lot today. That walk took a lot out of me. Lol. As did carrying the exercise machine downstairs. I plan on having a full workout tomorrow.

Day 1 – January 22nd 2011

Wrist Curls on each arm – 30 reps with bar and 50 reps with 5 pounds

Reverse Wrist Curls on each arm – 30 reps with bar and 50 reps with 5 pounds

Gazelle Level 1 – 5 minutes

Push Ups – 10

Sit Ups – 10

Lifting – 100 reps with a small (about 1 pound) chair on top of fingertips on both hands

Handstand Push Ups from chair – 5

Walk – 2 ½ miles

Leg Lifts – 10 reps with 30 pounds

Arm Lifts on each arm – 10 reps with 30 pounds

Day 2 – January 23rd 2011

Walk – 5 ½ miles

Day 3 – January 24th 2011

Wrist Curls on each arm – 50 reps with 5 pounds

Reverse Wrist Curls on each arm – 50 reps with 5 pounds

Gazelle Level 1 – 10 minutes

Gazelle Level 2 – 5 minutes

Gazelle Level 3 – 5 minutes

Gazelle Level 4 – 5 minutes

Push Ups – 20

Sit Ups – 20

Lifting – 100 reps with a small (about 1 pound) chair on top of fingertips on both hands and 100 reps with the bar from the weight bench

Handstand Push Ups from chair – 10

Walk – 3 miles

Leg Lifts – 20 reps with 30 pounds

Arm Lifts on each arm – 20 reps with 30 pounds

Balance – 1 minute standing on a wobbly weight with one leg and then the other

Grip – 15 seconds with each hand and 20 with both

Barbell over head with each arm – 20 reps with 5 pounds

Day 4 – January 25th 2011

Walk – 3 miles

Run – ½ mile

Balance – Walked on a windy gymnast bar back and forth twice without falling

Day 5 – January 26th 2011

Wrist Curls on each arm – 50 reps with 5 pounds

Reverse Wrist Curls on each arm – 50 reps with 5 pounds

Gazelle Level 1 – 10 minutes

Gazelle Level 2 – 15 minutes

Gazelle Level 3 – 10 minutes

Gazelle Level 4 – 12 minutes

Push Ups – 20

Sit Ups – 20

Explanation


So, I am a very unlikely candidate for this…but I am working toward going on Ninja Warrior. I am currently 23 years old and weigh about 270 lbs and am about 6ft tall. I have set up a training program for myself. I will be updating here daily with what I’ve done. I will often post links to my Youtube channel with new vids of me doing stuff.
